3 Doeleinden en rechtsgronden
- Ledenadministratie en contributie-inning (uitvoering overeenkomst; gerechtvaardigd belang).
- Verzenden van nieuwsbrieven en event-updates (toestemming).
- Beantwoording van vragen en verzoeken (gerechtvaardigd belang).
- Politieke campagnes en interne peilingen (gerechtvaardigd belang; toestemming waar nodig).
- Naleving van wettelijke verplichtingen, bijv. fiscale bewaarplicht (wettelijke plicht).
- Statistieken en functionaliteit van de website via cookies (toestemming voor niet-functionele cookies).
4 Delen van persoonsgegevens
Wij verkopen jouw gegevens nooit. We delen ze alleen met:
- Hosting- en e-mailprovider (EU) – website en e-mail.
- Betalingsdienstverlener/bank (EU) – SEPA-incasso.
- Google LLC (YouTube, Maps) – embedded content en analytics (VS, EU-US DPF of SCC’s).
- WordPress, Complianz en Elementor – CMS en cookie-beheer (EU).
Met alle partijen is een verwerkersovereenkomst gesloten.
5 Bewaartermijnen
- Leden- en donateursgegevens: 2 jaar na einde lidmaatschap.
- Financiële gegevens (facturen, SEPA-mandaten): 7 jaar; mandaten zelf 14 maanden na laatste incasso.
- Nieuwsbriefgegevens: tot afmelding.
- Websitestatistieken: 26 maanden, daarna geanonimiseerd.
6 Cookies
Wij gebruiken:
- Functionele cookies (noodzakelijk).
- Analytische cookies (statistiek) – alleen met jouw toestemming.
Er worden geen advertentie- of trackingcookies geplaatst. Zie de Cookie Policy voor details.
7 Beveiliging

- Rol-gebaseerde toegangscontrole
- Regelmatige back-ups en software-updates
- Verwerkersovereenkomsten met alle dienstverleners
8 Rechten van betrokkenen
Je hebt recht op inzage, rectificatie, verwijdering, beperking, overdraagbaarheid, bezwaar en intrekking van toestemming. Stuur je verzoek naar info@studentenstad.nl; wij reageren binnen één maand. Bij klachten kun je terecht bij de Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
9 Internationale doorgifte
Bij verwerking buiten de EER passen wij passende waarborgen toe (EU-US Data Privacy Framework of SCC’s) om een gelijkwaardig beschermingsniveau te garanderen.
10 Wijzigingen
Wijzigingen publiceren wij op studentenstad.nl en informeren je bij wezenlijke aanpassingen.

3 Purposes and legal bases
- Membership administration and fee collection (contract performance; legitimate interest).
- Sending newsletters and event information (consent).
- Handling questions and requests (legitimate interest).
- Political campaigns and internal polls (legitimate interest; consent where required).
- Compliance with legal obligations, e.g. tax law (legal obligation).
- Website statistics and functionality via cookies (consent for non-essential cookies).
4 Sharing personal data
We never sell your data. We share it only with:
- Hosting and email provider (EU) – website and email services.
- Payment service provider/bank (EU) – SEPA direct debits.
- Google LLC (YouTube, Maps) – embedded content and analytics (US, EU-US DPF or SCCs).
- WordPress, Complianz and Elementor – CMS and cookie management (EU).
All processors are bound by data-processing agreements.
5 Retention periods
- Member and donor records: 2 years after membership ends.
- Financial records (invoices, SEPA mandates): 7 years; mandates 14 months after last debit.
- Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe.
- Website statistics: 26 months, then anonymised.

- Analytics cookies (statistics) – only with consent.

8 Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, object to processing, or withdraw consent at any time. Email info@studentenstad.nl; we will respond within one month. If unsatisfied, you may lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
9 International transfers
Where personal data is processed outside the EEA, appropriate safeguards (EU-US Data Privacy Framework or SCCs) ensure an adequate level of protection.
10 Changes
We may amend this notice. The latest version is always available on studentenstad.nl; material changes will be announced on the site or by email.
